Open the Door, Wind  開門通風Kinetic Sculpture / 3D Printing / 2025

SynopsisDoors are the carriers of energy flow between interior and exterior spaces, the boundaries where light, wind, and temperature intertwine and merge, and the primary means of energy exchange between people and the outside world. The kinetic installation "Opening the Door " is inspired by observations of doors in dense cities, attempting to explore the essence of the relationship between people and the outside world in the modern urban environment through a simple mechanical movement.

This work was commissioned by 门 Wide Open Space, Shenzhen.


門，是溝通內外空間能量流動的載體，是光、風與溫度交織融合的邊界，更是人與外界進行能量交換的首要途徑。動態裝置《開門通風》的靈感源自於對密集城市中「門」的觀察，試圖透過一種簡單的機械運動，探討在現代城市環境下，人與外界關係的本質。

作品為深圳門空間委託創作作品。
